we had the pleasure of hosting members of both sides of our family this weekend. the girls really enjoy playing with their cousins, but having five kids running around makes me thankful for my small litter of just two.
big sister was simply amazed (& maybe a bit confused) that she had TWO grandmas in one place at the same time. it is always cute to watch her interaction with each of them.

little sister volunteered to be the princess with the older girls as the stylists. this is only one of several outfits she sported on saturday.
after a long day of playing hard, the girls settled in for a movie, but were fast asleep in no time. i'm sure the cozy blanket & dim lighting helped too. missing naptime made for a much earlier bedtime and sound sleep.
sunday began by playing in the sand pit at aunt sharman's neighborhood amenity center. what? you don't like the feeling of sand in your shorts??
