evidently kindergarten was overcrowded with only 5 teachers, so the district decided to hire another. big sister, along with 3 classmates, was chosen to leave mrs. t and join mrs. l - an aggie (class of 2008), who completed her student teaching in the spring, got married in july, and landed her first teaching job 5 weeks into the school year. big sister seems to be unphased by the transition to another room so we have no complaints.
today she had art class and brought home a drawing of a nice lady. my first thought was that it was a drawing of her new teacher. having never met or seen her, i thought that was a valid guess. to my surprise, it is a drawing of ME! and a very nice drawing indeed!!
