little sister’s teacher collected $5 a few weeks ago to go toward supplies for “homemade costumes” for their halloween parade. parents were encouraged to attend the parade if they could. i had totally forgotten about it until little sister came home yesterday with her costume. i saw her wearing it from afar, thinking “how cute, a cell phone, no…a calculator…” her teacher smiled and said “it’s a remote control!” apparently, her entire class was dressed like this. she was very cute dancing around at home wearing this box. she even let big sister try it on, for about 10 seconds.

when i was in kindergarten – i remember wearing a box in our christmas show, dressed as a present. i also remember wearing a white trash bag & dancing around like a snowflake. luckily, i even have the photos to prove it.
