even though she misses elementary school terribly - so much so that about twice a week she’ll come to me and quietly sob about it - big sister seems to really be enjoying the summer camp program at daycare.
last week she brought home a bag of rocks after a visit from the “rock man”. she was so proud to show off her collection – especially the “dalmation rock” (i.e. granite). their first fieldtrip was supposed to be to sharkarosa wildlife ranch, but that was postponed and instead they all went to the park for a picnic lunch and “explored the woods.” today they’ll be going bonkers!
but the most excitement so far has been the weekly friday “fit 4 fun cheer camp” class. the girls are taking the class together, and then coming home and showing off how to clap and jump in the air. sounds like there are only about 5 girls in the class, and i’m looking forward to the “show” they’ll perform at the end of the 8 weeks.
