i finally got big sister to sit down and do some "homework" with me. i started her out with an easy page, thinking we could work up to some more-challenging ones - you know, build up her confidence a bit. she looked so cute sitting there counting on her fingers. i took a photo of her work so we could email to mrs. L - and await her approval...
mommy also did some "home work" - i'm putting together a scrapbook album for a friend. her daughter is almost 5, but i am only thru about 10 months of her age. i know i did not invent the technique, but i tried for the first time yesterday to stitch borders and curves on the pages with my sewing machine - as a finishing touch. it was really fun. now i want to go thru the girls' books and see where i can add stitching, too.
but don't worry - we did not work all weekend...we had lots of play time too. :-)
