1st 9 weeks

today big sister came home with quite the stack of accomplishments:

an all A report card,

a certificate for perfect attendance,

a certificate for A-average honor roll,

a 100 on her spelling quiz,

& her fall 2010 portraits.

the quiz grade was the most surprising to me, as she had been struggling a bit with the week's words: brick, truck, trick, drip, drop, frog, crack, crab, prop, dress.

the b's & d's and p's & q's were getting mixed up. so when she came home on the first try with them all correct, i was super happy. sometimes (it seems) i worry for nothing. :-)
