even though the calendar officially says “spring” – we had one last (hopefully) blast of snow last night. it seems that this occurrence is becoming a “normal” thing around here. the girls led me to believe that they wanted to go outside so they could play in the snow, but when we got out there, all they did was ride scooters and bikes – same story, just with different scenery. little sister did throw a snowball or two, but then complained about her gloves being wet.
had i known we would have FOUR snowfall events this winter, i might have invested in proper gear for them. little sister did get a new jacket a few weeks ago, as the one she was wearing was about 2 sizes too small, so it was nice to at least be prepared with that for her.
