we woke up to 50-degree weather today, which fits in perfectly with today being the 50th day of school. to celebrate, students were asked to dress in fashion from the 50's. they're going to have a big sock hop in the gym with popcorn and root beer floats. it was easy to wake up little susie and get her dressed to rock around the clock. when i dropped her off, i reminded her of just three things:
1) don't be cruel
2) don't yakety yak when the teacher is talking
3) let the good times roll
after all, i am her mom and just want her to have an unforgettable day. now, bye bye love!
