so here's how we passed the time while we were snowed in...
we ate snowman pancakes...
...and we did an art project with crayon shavings
to make a "love"-ly decoration for valentine's day.
we also addressed all our valentine cards,
studied spelling words for the test that kept being postponed,
and generally made a mess of the house. thankfully, the cold weather is slowly moving out, with 60-degree days coming our way and low 70s by next week. so hopefully the groundhog was right and spring is on its way - we will surely welcome it!
this morning we still have icy slush in the shadows on the back patio - be gone already!!
