daddy snuck out this morning to get donuts for little sister's big day. she was the last one to wake up this morning (which is NOT usual for her), so the 3 of us pounced on her with a huge "happy birthday!" shout out and a box of donuts. thankfully the only shop that was open near us had plenty of pink icing & sprinkles. she went from a peaceful slumber to an ear-to-ear grin!

after going thru the 1st donut and starting her 2nd, she stopped and shouted out, "what about my presents??" we told her we would open them after school. she relunctantly agreed, making sure to remind us what was on her list: a horsey and barbie doll. we'll have to wait and see - but i am pretty sure we've got that covered...
