the girls have been excited all week - talking about their trip today to the circus. it was opening day, & they seemed to have lots of fun, at least that's how we heard it:
*there were elephants and lions and lion teachers
*there were cheerleaders with hoops and acrobats
*there was cotton candy for $21, "but you didn't give us any money!!"
*for lunch, we had chips, and a hot dog with ketchup & mustard ("but i don't like mustard, mommy") and sprite. big sister referred to the sprite as "the drink we have when we are sick" - you see, she really does not like carbonated beverages of any kind...
*the building had 2 A's on it (the american airlines center)
*we sat on the bus together, and each girl claimed that the other fell asleep. then they got to arguing - each denying they had slept. such a rough life...
i'm excited to see the photos from this trip (and all the others). we've been promised a big finale "summer camp" slide show before school starts, which is just 3 weeks away. time flies when you're having fun, right??
