mild weather (in the 90s) & an invitation from aunt shae prompted us to visit the dallas arboretum this morning. august admission is only $1, so it was a great & inexpensive way to spend the morning. there were playhouses on display that were based on fairy tales. we had fun exploring them and guessing which book they were about. in addition to many beautiful blooms, we also saw "princesses" in the beautiful quincinera gowns having portraits made.
after a short while, the girls got very tired. to my surprise, they did not nap on the way home, which explains why they were half-snoozing at the dinnertable.
