we had our first fire station visit today as part of a classmate's birthday party. the girls enjoyed seeing friends from their old school. their least favorite part was hearing the loud siren, but most of the other kids enjoyed it. i was disappointed that we did not get to go for a ride - but maybe that is against regulations.

big sister refused to have anything to do with the fire helmet at the party, but has been wearing it at home ever since we got home. go figure!
