we played a new team today for the first time this season and won 4-0. the weather was gorgeous and in the low 60s. our team has come so very far since they started playing 2 months ago. big sister was goalie for the 1st quarter, and then played offense in the 3rd. she almost kicked in 3 goals - 2 of which got deflected by the side post and the other just narrowly missed. she has gotten much braver and more aggressive, little by little. there are 2 games left in the season, and we've decided to continue with these same girls on an indoor winter team. hopefully by the spring season, they will be unstoppable!
