little sister was counting down days all this week. it took me a few tries to understand that she was not counting down to the weekend - but to the start of a new month. (it's a kindergarten thing, i guess...)
today, with the help of sunny weather in the low 60s - we are all enjoying a taste of fall and looking forward to the holidays headed our way. we've already seen 2 pumpkin patches pop up - so we stopped at one and did some exploring. this isn't the big one we usually go to with the hay maze and bounce houses - so without all those "distractions" the girls simply hunted around for their favorite pumpkins.
