big sister played the whole game today. she was goalie for the 1st & 3rd periods, but you could tell the main thing on her mind was NOT getting smacked in the face again! at least this week the opposing team was the same age & size. that was her question to me this morning when we were talking about getting ready for the game..."are they gonna be big girls again??" our team managed to make 5 goals this game! woo hoo!

this week, we are going to work with big sister on falling on the ball anytime it comes into the square of the goalie area. that is what the other team did EVERY time and it really kept our girls away from their goal.
