today we did some exploring in san mateo after meeting up with grandpa and great-grandpa & grandma. we went to a park downtown and the japanese tea garden. the kids enjoyed the play equipment, and the adults enjoyed the sunny weather in the high 60's. what a dream, compared to the 100's we left behind in texas. a girl could get used to this...
